SUPER SMASH BROS FOR WIIU
  • Game version: US Nintendo WiiU
  • Game Settings: 2 Stock, 6 Minutes, Custom Moves Off, Items Off, Equipment Off, Handicap Off, Pause Off, Damage Ratio 1.0x, 2/3 Games
  • Allowed Controllers: Nintendo Gamecube controller, Wii U Pro controller (battery removed method with USB), and Wii Remote variation (player MUST remove battery upon completion of set or will be disqualified)
  • Mii Fighters On (1-1-1-1 Default Guest Miis)
  • Amiibo’s are banned.
  • Stages: Battlefield [Dream Land 64], Final Destination [Ω Midgar, Ω Suzaku Castle and Ω Wily Castle], Lylat Cruise, Smashville, Town & City
  • First stage is decided by (Rock Paper Scissors) best of 1. Winner may choose to either strike a stage first or select a port first.
  • Stages are struck in a P1-P2-P2-P1 order.
  • Following stages decided by winner striking one stage from all stages and then loser choosing.
  • Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.
  • You may not pick the last stage you have previously won on during the set unless mutually agreed to.
  • You may not play on a stage that is not on the available stages list. This will result in a double disqualification.
  • If a game ends with a self-destruct move, the results screen will determine the winner.
  • Sudden Death with tied percentage/stock will result in a 1 stock/3 minutes playoff match.
  • There will be no loading anything on to the tournament consoles.

Overwatch tournament rules

  • Must be a participant of Treasure Valley Comic Con
  • Each team consists of 6 players and optionally 1 stand-in player who cannot be an existing player in the tournament (even if that player was eliminated in an earlier stage).
  • If someone needs to leave we can make due with a team of 5.
  • Each team will have a team captain who will communicate with the admins and register their teams
  • Teams are self-made however pick up teams will be made at Treasure Valley Comic Con

Match Rules

Game mode:

  • Single or double elimination; depending on number of teams signed up due to time constraints
  • Map rotation: Single map
  • Return to lobby: After a game
  • Available maps: King’s Row, Numbani, Watchpoint: Gibraltar, Dorado, Hanamura, Temple of Anubis, Volskaya, Nepal, Lijiang Tower, Hollywood, Ilios, Route 66, Eichenwalde & Oasis
  • Disable kill cam: On
  • In case of a tie on Assault, Hybrid or Escort a preset Best of One Control map is to be played. The team that captures the first objective fully, on the first point of the control map will win the tied map.

Hero Options

  • Hero selection limit: 1 per team
  • All heroes are currently allowed
    1. o Role selection limit: None
      o Allow Hero Switching: On
      o Respawn as random hero: Off

Forfeit

  • Participants can choose to forfeit a match. Forfeiting will result in loss of the match.

Starting Match

  • All teams are expected to be there and confirm their attendance 20 minutes before the start of the match.
  • A 5 minute grace time will be given. After that the match will be considered forfeited if a team is late or missing team members.

Pause

  • It is forbidden to use the pause without an obvious reason, such as player disconnects, computer crash, etc. A warning will be given for the first pause and if repeated will lead to disqualification.
  • When resuming the game from pause, both team captains need to confirm with judges they are ready to continue.


All participants must adhere to the decisions and rules of the tournament organizers, admins, and referees. All decisions are final
